In 2019, after a painful breakup, I found myself lost and alone, squatting at a friend's house while my ex turned to drugs, and I decided to turn to journaling to cope and keep up with my mental health. When journaling no longer did it for me, I turned to songwriting as a way to release my emotions and frustrations.

I channeled my pain into a song about my ex and the situation, and though I didn’t have the right equipment or money for a studio, I published it on my YouTube channel. The backlash and threats I received were overwhelming, but it only left me fueled to prove myself.

​

After a few songs, the audio mixing and mastering process became easier, and I found myself growing more passionate about the craft of making music and the energy I could bring to it. Yes, I made my fair share of love songs, but as that era faded, a new, bold energy began to emerge in to my music.
